Dr. Ahmed Hasaballah

Dr. Ahmed Hasaballah, MD, MRCPI, MRCOG, is a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of international clinical experience across Ireland, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, specialising in comprehensive women’s health care with a particular focus on general gynaecology, minimally invasive surgery, fertility care, and urogynaecology. He is currently a Permanent Consultant at University Hospital Kerry and Bon Secours hospital, has previously worked as a Consultant at Cork University Maternity Hospital, while also providing consultant services across several hospitals in Ireland including Portlaoise, Cavan, Sligo,Kilkenny and Tallaght. Dr. Hasaballah provides expert care for a wide range of gynaecological conditions including abnormal bleeding, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, endometriosis, menopause concerns, fertility issues, prolapse, urinary incontinence, and cervical abnormalities. He has extensive experience in both outpatient management and surgical treatment. His surgical expertise includes laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cyst surgery, pelvic floor repair, treatment of ectopic pregnancy, and minimally invasive procedures, with hundreds of successful procedures performed throughout his career. Dr. Hasaballah holds an MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MRCPI, MRCOG, and a Diploma in Leadership and Management from University College Dublin. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, British Fertility Society. Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively involved in medical education, research, and service development, with publications, national presentations, and quality improvement projects focused on advancing women’s healthcare.
